There are some negatives to using broadband cable and the customer or potential customer should understand them before signing up for the service. One negative is the cost of the broadband. Each of the potential speeds cost different. The faster the speed, the higher the cost will be. For some families, this might not work into the budget. Another negative to broadband cable is the chance of construction personnel cutting through the cable. If this happens, there won't be any service until the break can be found and repaired. If it is not in a residential part of town it can take a while to find the breakage under ground. If people have their services bundled, this could cause the stoppage of everything that works under that service. Broadband cable is easy and most of the time reliable and the negatives that do happen are usually few and far between.
